Forecasters for Pantone have selected the color Turquoise for 2010. Experts from the fashion industry agree with Pantone. “Turquoise is universally appealing. It puts everyone in the same state of mind-on vacation.”

Turquoise was chosen partly because it is a freshness and a relief to a previous tough year. Leatrice Eiseman, from Pantone, even mentions that this word relates to words like “healing” based on blue stone jewelry. Colors that complement turquoise are yellow-greens and blues.
