Diane Von Furstenberg Resort 2010 DESIGNER, MAIN, RUNWAY 06.14.09Written By Ben
In this collection, Diane Von Furstenberg stayed true to “la petite valise” by implementing a boyish slouchy T-shirt, a sweet eyelet top, and an airy paint-splattered jean. Inspired by Brazil and neighboring lands, Furstenberg focused on bright colors and cheerful prints on sheer draped chiffons.
A hallmark to her collection was the fun and feisty polkadot motifs. Together with paper leather dresses in neon brights and with layered sheers, this collection’s strong point was tropical chic, and it was well executed.
