Chanel Spring 2010 DESIGNER, MAIN, RUNWAY 10.08.09Written By Ben

Inspired by all the beauties found in a more simple and rural world, Lagerfeld has done a marvelous job with such a chic and elegant collection. By using Chanel’s signature palette like ivory, beige, and black, Lagerfeld has reminded us of a more simple world where economical chaos doesn’t exist.

Chanel’s Couturier extraordinaire has added much detail such as hopsack to basket weave and cane work on simple poppy prints, aprons, and dirndls. There were many subtle details found in the transparent lace, and the rough textures and raw edges, which added contrast.
