Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 MAIN, RUNWAY 10.09.09Written By Ben

McQueen’s collection this year have many elements that have made the future look more real and tangible. The sandy, aqua, and green hues found in the digital reptile prints told a story of what would happen in an ecological meltdown of the world.

One thing to note on this collection is the uniquely oval high heel shoes that were beautifully decorated. The pieces had many tight form fittings, specifically in the waist. Stones have been used to emulate scales. The silhouettes were both chic and unique. By taking a risky move during the economy crisis, McQueen has once again demonstrated the true artistic talents of a great designer.
