It appears that both French Connection and Versace will be closing up stores in Japan due to the economic blues. According to My Fashion Life, Versace will be pulling out of Japan by the end of October. Versace will be closing four stores and its Tokyo office.

French Connection will also close their stores over the next nine months. The decision taken by French Connection was due to the forecast of 2.5 million loss by the end of the year. Other stores that have suffered in Japan include Chanel, LVMH, and Escada.
