Kenzo Spring 2010 MAIN, RUNWAY 10.16.09Written By Ben

Designer Antonio Marras has moved us with Kenzo’s spring collection. Known as one of fashion’s romantics, Marras had a huge golden disc that exploded in a shower of gold filaments, which contrasted the aqua, peach, and pink palette of the collection.

Marras’s choice of Middle Eastern inspiration was vivid in the madras trench, jackets in black lame, and on the draped dresses that trailed threads of gold Lurex. Dominant in the collection were big shirts cinched with wide belts, army shorts belted with rope, and natural linen shirtdress.
