Chanel Pre-Fall 2010 DESIGNER, MAIN, RUNWAY 12.04.09Written By Ben
The Neon lit Shanghai skyline set the setting to match the ecstatic energy for Lagerfeld’s Chanel collection. Designer Lagerfeld attempted to capture the look in which Coco Chanel would have envisioned from China.
Taking from Chanel’s book, Lagerfeld used off-white and moss-green tweeds, edged in black. Slim jackets and leather leggings were dominant in the collection. Dark and neutral tones contrasted the crimson red tones to create spectacular focal points on the gowns as well as on the leather leggings.
