Designer Christopher Bailey, the Chief Creative Officer for Burberry, has been awarded the 2009 Designer of the year at the British Fashion Awards. The Burberry house also took the title of the Brand of the Year award.

This is a very exciting time for Burberry since they also announced that their Prorsum Womenswear collection will be returning to London Fashion Week again in this coming February. Bailey stated as he received his award, “London is our home and our global headquarters, and we are thrilled to be showing again in this, our magnificent and creative city.”
