Yesterday, American designer Marc Jacobs was honored in Paris for his great contributions to the country. Jacobs had been decorated as Chevailier des Arts et des Lettres, or the Kinght of the Ordered of Arts and Letters.
Jacobs stated, “I’m just kind of overcome with emotion. It really means a lot to me, as an American, to be honored by a country that I love so much.” Others that were honored were Nathanie Rykiel, from the Sonia Rykiel label, and Elisabeth Ponsolle des Portes, the President of Comite Colbert.
Indeed, Marc Jacobs has done much contribution with his extraordinary work in LVMH.
